Returns & Refunds Policy

At HairWorks, we take great care to ensure all hair extensions are thoroughly checked and packaged to the highest standard before dispatch.

Due to the nature of hair extensions and for hygiene reasons, we operate a strict returns policy in line with industry standards.

Hygiene & Safety Policy

For hygiene and quality control reasons, hair extensions cannot be returned or refunded once opened, worn, altered, or removed from their original packaging.

This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Extensions that have been worn, tried on, brushed, washed, cut, coloured, toned, or styled

  • Extensions removed from the original hygiene seal or packaging

  • Extensions showing signs of use, odour, or damage

Returns Eligibility

Returns will only be accepted if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The item is unused and unworn

  • The item is in its original packaging, including hygiene seals and tags

  • The item is returned within 14 days of delivery

  • The item is in the same condition as received

We reserve the right to refuse any return that does not meet these conditions.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

In the unlikely event that you receive:

  • a faulty product, or

  • an incorrect item due to our error

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos and your order number.

If the issue is confirmed, we will offer:

  • a replacement, or

  • store credit

Refunds are issued only where required by law.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-refundable and non-returnable:

  • Opened or used hair extensions

  • Sale or discounted items

  • Custom or special-order items

Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable

  • We strongly recommend using tracked shipping, as we are not responsible for lost returns

Refund Processing

If a return is approved:

  • Refunds or store credit will be processed within 5–10 working days after inspection

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method where applicable
